Short-term therapy to address the immediate challenges that the child/youth is facing. Parental involvement in the therapy is encouraged in most cases. The therapy services are at no cost to Township residents.

Eligibility

• Warren Township Youth Services provides therapy for youth ages 8-18.
• Young adults ages 18-21 may be eligible for services, depending on previous history of services at WTYS and presenting problems.
• Must be a Warren Township resident. Therapy is restricted to residents only. Other services may be available for free or modest non-resident fee. 
• All services are voluntary. No reports of progress or evaluation of functioning will be provided for adult or family court. WTYS does not become involved in any custody related disputes. For further explanation, click Intake.

Intake

A brief phone intake must be completed to assess for services. Once completed, the client will be assigned a therapist who will make the final arrangements to begin services. Please be prepared for a wait of 2-3 weeks to begin services (depending on the wait list). Intakes cannot be completed by email, but some question may be answered: youthservices@warrentownship.net.
