Youth and Family Counseling

We provide short-term counseling services to families with youth between the ages of 8 and 18. This service is at no charge to residents of Warren Township. Individual adult and marital counseling are also available as time permits.

Friday Night Alternative-FNA

This dance is open to all Warren Township youth entering 6-8 grades. Over 1700 youth register and attend the dances with DJ, food, open gym and karaoke. Application may be downloaded (top of the page) and mailed in or stop by the office.

NO REGISTRATION AT THE DANCE ALLOWED--MUST HAVE A CURRENT 2007-2008 FNA CARD. Download the Applicatoin at the top of this page.

Start Date: Feb. 22, March 14, April 18, May 16, Movie in the Park on June 7 at 8:45 pm      
Start Time: 7 pm-- Chaperones must arrive at 6:30 and park in the lot on Washington St. side.      End Time: 9 pm--Chaperones stay until the students are picked-up. Children wait outside--must be properly dressed for weather.
Cost: $15 per year, $5 discount to those parents who chaperone 2 dances

MOVIE IN THE PARK --Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, PG 13 (edited for language), 103 min., Movie is June 7th, 2008.

The general public is welcome to attend the free movie. There will be free tattoos and popcorn and other concessions will be sold. There will be free hip hop classes at 7:15-7:45 pm at the bandshell.

Bash held at Gowe Beach in Gurnee. The Beach Bash is for those entering grade 6-9th. DJ, Games, prizes and swimming.

A Parent’s Guide to Teaching Social Skills

This hands-on workshop shows parents how to teach social skills to their children. Great for parents who have concerns about their child’s social development or just want to prevent future problems.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lake County program pairs adult mentors with youth (ages 8-13) to share activities with computers, video games, crafts, etc.
