Letter From The Supervisor PDF Print

The elected officials of Warren Township join me in wishing you  a joyous and happy holiday.

As you go about the busy holiday season take a moment to think about your safety and the safety of our senior friends and relatives. Take a moment to write down your medications and the prescribed doses, and place it in your wallet or purse. In the event that you have an accident or become unconscious precious treatment time could be lost until the doctors know what medications you are on.

Last year we had that very situation arise at the Senior Center. One of our participants at a function became incapacitated. The senior director and I accompanied her to the hospital. When the doctor came in the first thing he wanted to know was what medications was she taking. Thankfully this individual had this information in her purse and treatment could begin immediately. She was very fortunate.

It is an easy thing to do and it just might save your life or the life of your loved one.

     Happy Holidays!!!

     Sue Simpson

Coyotes PDF Print

Many pets have been attacked in and around Warren Township. Reports have been received from Deerpath Subdivision that coyotes are in the neighborhood during the day as well as nightime. Do not leave pets or pet food outside. Coyotes can leap a 6 foot fence and climb an 8 foot fence to get at prey.  Children, particularly toddlers have been attacked in other parts of the United States. Never leave children unattended. A permit from the Department of Natural Resources is necessary to trap or kill a coyote.
