As a result of brush pickup, wood mulch is available for your use. Placing wood mulch around trees and bushes is an excellent landscaping tool. Nutrients are provided, soil stays moist longer, there is less lawn to mow, and mowers do not scar trunks and stems.
Where Can I Get Wood Mulch? Wood mulch is a by-product of many Township programs. Residents can pick up this mulch free of charge at the Warren Township Highway Department located at 17801 W. Washington Street. Please call the Highway Department at (847) 244-1101, Ext. 301 before you come to ensure mulch is available. Please understand that we will not load wood mulch for you. We do ask that you be considerate of other township residents when loading wood mulch. Wood mulch is available for residents of Warren Township only. It is not for landscape contractors. We cannot guarantee the quality of the wood mulch, however, many homeowners tell us our wood mulch is good material. |
